Why women live longer than men
Presentation (in German) by Centre scientist Marc Luy. Women currently have around five years longer life expectancy than men. What makes this big difference? Are they biological factors or rather non-biological causes? Marc Luy, demographer at the ÖAW, summarizes in his short presentation the knowledge gained so far, from which one can also take a lot for one's own life expectancy - no matter if a man or a woman.
