Stefanie Andruchowitz joined the World Population Program (POP) in June 2012 as a Program Officer to fulfill program coordination activities, and scientific project administration and management. Ms. Andruchowitz has several years of working experience in a wide range of international scientific, development and corporate organizations in Austria and abroad, including developing countries. In her positions she managed and coordinated the implementation of projects and programs dedicated to education, sustainable development, interreligious dialogue, women's justice and health, capacity building, and minority groups.

Ms. Andruchowitz holds a Masters degree in Political Science and a Masters degree in Development Studies from the University of Vienna. Within POP, Ms. Andruchowitz oversees and coordinates publications, editorial work, event management, funding and outreach activities, as well as project administration for the ERC funded Reassessing Aging from a Population Perspective (Re-Aging) project.
