About

Orawan Prasitsiriphon graduated from Mahidol University (Thailand) with a bachelor's degree in Statistic Mathematical Science. Thereafter, she worked for five years as an actuary in a private insurance company while completing her studies. She graduated from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) with a master’s degree in risk management, insurance and actuarial science. Ms. Prasitsiriphon also worked for the Health Insurance System Research Office (HISRO) as an assistant researcher. Her duties there included estimating health care expenditure for a Civil Servant Medical Benefit Scheme, Social Security Scheme and Universal Coverage Scheme. She also provided research project assistance including literature reviews, surveys, focus groups, data integration, analysis and written reports. Currently, she is a PhD Candidate at the College of Population Studies, Chulalongkorn University (Thailand). Her thesis looks at the association between morbidities and physical performances.
