Markus Speringer is a geographer and research scientist at the Wittgenstein Centre for Demography and Global Human Capital (IIASA, VID/ÖAW, WU), Vienna Institute of Demography (Austrian Academy of Sciences) and International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA). He is also a PhD candidate at the University of Vienna. His research interests include spatial demography and statistics, demographic modelling and urban diversity.
