Afua Durowaa-Boateng joined VID in August 2020 as a member of the Bayes Edu team with the Human Capital Data Lab. Her expertise involves estimation vital rates with focus on educational attainment for population reconstruction. She will join the PhD in Demography programme with University of Vienna. She aspires to contribute to the works of factors that affect mortality. Afua Durowaa-Boateng has a Master’s of Science degree in Actuarial and Financial Engineering from University of Tartu, Estonia and a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana.
