U.S. scholars have until September 15, 2026, to apply for the Fulbright Visiting Professorship at the Faculty of Social Sciences for the 2027–28 academic year (starting in October 2027 or March 2028).
The Visiting Professorship for Teaching and Research offers a 4-month teaching and research fellowship at the University of Vienna.
This call for applications is open to researchers who are U.S. citizens in the following disciplines: demography, international development, cultural and social anthropology, nursing science, political science, journalism and communication studies, sociology, and science and technology studies. The remuneration for the visiting professorship is EUR 5,000 per month. In addition, a one-time travel allowance of EUR 1,000 will be provided.
