On the occasion of Wolfgang Lutz's upcoming farewell as Director of the Vienna Institute of Demography (VID) after twenty years at the OeAW, a festive event entitled "20 years VID - 12 years WIC" will take place on Wednesday, 30 November 2022.

Wolfgang Lutz founded the Wittgenstein Centre with the aim of further developing demographic methods and applying them to the analysis of human capital and population dynamics.

As part of the event, the latest report of the Wittgenstein Centre "Report of Activities 2018–2022 Wittgenstein Centre: Advancing Demography and Global Human Capital Research" will be presented, providing an insight into the research activities and results of the years 2018-2022.
